This is a decent solution, but it could be much better. See the photos for the explanation.The first photo shows a homebrew metal shield installed on the door gasket. As you can see, the mice chewed a second hole above my homebrew shield.The second photo shows the Rodent Guard installed. The Rodent Guard covers the bottom six inches of your gasket with metal armor. However, because the Rodent Guard attaches to the door gasket, if the mice have already chewed your gasket, you may have a problem.The third photo shows the Rodent guard installed, with my homebrew shield installed behind it.Feedback to The Rickford Company, LLC: a Deluxe model that includes additional metal flanges or inserts would work better for me.

This is a decent solution, but it could be much better. See the photos for the explanation.

The first photo shows a homebrew metal shield installed on the door gasket. As you can see, the mice chewed a second hole above my homebrew shield.

The second photo shows the Rodent Guard installed. The Rodent Guard covers the bottom six inches of your gasket with metal armor. However, because the Rodent Guard attaches to the door gasket, if the mice have already chewed your gasket, you may have a problem.

The third photo shows the Rodent guard installed, with my homebrew shield installed behind it.

Feedback to The Rickford Company, LLC: a Deluxe model that includes additional metal flanges or inserts would work better for me.
